Adios Amigos`

At the onset of May, i got a pleasant surprise!!
A farewell treat from my team-mates!!

Well, this could imply many a things to the readers; the most striking being a job loss!
but surprisingly, it was just the opposite; the higher management decided to move me to some other project because of resource crunch!!

I was overwhelmed to see how the farewell was so properly managed; my manager gave me a big Good Luck card holding so many wishes inside from my (ex)-team mates! She manages everything so well, be it work, team or project deadlines.

Life is surely a package of strange things; 2 months back i was so overloaded with work that i even thought of leaving the IT industry; but gradually working harder became a part of my daily life!

Looks like even God knows that i love writing documents; in my last project i compiled many a docs; i m really looking forward to great deal of coding in my next project, Amen!!

I got great review comments frommy seniors too that the documents could have been written a dozen times better. I agree with them too, but my big bottleneck were the strict timelines in which i had to finish crucial activities. But then i can also see this as an opportunity, rather than doing nothing to improve at my end.

I do read my friends' blogs but don't get quality time these days to give thoughtful comments. Wish i do full justice from my side to their thoughts soon.

Also when i hear about my well wishers losing their jobs or doing things they dont relish; i am forced to think how long will this situation last.

Yesterday's treat also reminded me of another farewell party given my by dearie friends when i was about to leave for Duesseldorf!

2007 was the most special year to me; i loved being in Duesseldorf.

Yesterday some new joinees in our team asked me if they will also get a similar chance to be in Europe?

I wish they get one; but probability is too low as Europeans have also started realising that working from India is more economical.I hope life will unwrap some other kind of surprises for them.

So here i am wishing golden good bye to the golden team i worked with for a golden period of last 3 months..

Life is fair, life is unfair too,

Moments are green, at time so lean,

Oportunities come as fast as they bequeath,

Life takes surprise birth and also at the drop of a hat leaves,

But the goodbye wave often swirls and bends,

For something in it stays till the end..

Motivating us to stretch farther till the perceived end..

They say everything is round,

We come again to catch what we could' nt have earlier found,

Miles far we may have reached in,

But our roots will call us to completely dissolve in,

Howsoever bad today i may have expressed my feeling,

But its an old goodbye that still keeps on echoing!
